Questions worth answering up front
- What counts as one verification?
- Two operations are metered: accepting a payment for monitoring (POST /payments) and a one-off transaction check (POST /verify). Everything else is free — polling a payment, listing payments, reading your usage and loading any dashboard page cost nothing, however many requests they take.
- Are payments made with a test key metered?
- Yes. A test key scans the same chain and does the same work as a live key, so it draws on the same allowance. The free plan is there so that exercising your integration never needs a paid one.
- What happens when the allowance runs out?
- By default the next verification is refused with a 402 rather than quietly billed, so nothing is ever charged that you did not agree to. Switch overage on and further verifications are drawn from prepaid credit at the pay-as-you-go rate instead.
- Can we change plan mid-period?
- Yes. An upgrade is invoiced straight away and applies the moment that payment confirms. A downgrade is scheduled instead of applied, so it takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for.
- How do we pay, and do you ever hold our funds?
- You pay us in USDT on BSC or TRON, to an address we publish. Your own payments never pass through us at all: payers send directly to the receiving address you specify on each payment, and we only read the chain. We never take custody and never ask for a private key.
